I don’t know what’s worse: the fact that dad woke me up from what might have been a pleasantly misleading dream OR the fact that dad woke me up eight in the morning on a Saturday to remind me of the chores I have to do.

Think of it in this way. A girl could strike everyone as really ordinary— she has regular black hair and doesn’t dress in trendy stuff. She’s awkward and shy, and doesn’t seem like she could carry a beat let alone a chorus.
